OBJECTIVE

Attract free agents to join a WNBA team by leveraging virtual reality videos created bespoke for each prospect.

PUTTING THE PUZZLE TOGETHER

Together with the Coach, General Manager and our team at CreatorUp, we crafted a script highlighting the unique strengths of the team, it’s facilities and all that the city has to offer.

To make the most of our time on the ground shooting, we pre-visualized the VR experience with the creation of an animatic composed of footage from a virtual location scout, scratch VO and temp music.

The production value is enhanced with motion-controlled camera movement, aerial VR cinematography of the skyline & arena, as well as timelapse.

FINAL PRODUCT

The VR video features a tour showcasing the locker room, dining hall, center court at the arena and other special amenities - all guided by an all-star player and including an intimate message from Coach.

Each prospect received a VR headset installed with a custom app featuring an individualized version of the 360 video.
